About the Conferences
The Comparative Asia-Africa Governmental Accounting Conference (CAAGA) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published under the auspices of the Association of Public Sector Accounting Educators (APSAE). CAAGA serves as a dynamic platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and educators to share impactful research and innovative ideas in the field of public sector accounting, governance, and financial management, with particular focus on the Asian and African contexts.
The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary contributions that promote transparency, accountability, and reform in public sector practices. We encourage submissions that address key topics such as:
- Public sector accounting and financial reporting
- Governance, public policy, and reform implementation
- Human resource management and organizational behavior
- Digital transformation and public innovation
- Ethics, accountability, and political philosophy in governance
CAAGA applies a double-blind peer review process and publishes original research articles, case studies, review papers, and conceptual frameworks that bridge theory and practice. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), and are freely accessible without subscription or registration barriers.
The journal is committed to the highest standards of ethical publishing and follows the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
