The Comparative Asia-Africa Governmental Accounting Conference (CAAGA X) is a prestigious international platform that bridges scholarship and practice in public sector innovation across Asia and Africa. About the Journal

The Comparative Asia-Africa Governmental Accounting Conference (CAAGA) is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access academic journal published by the Association of Public Sector Accounting Educators (APSAE)</strong). CAAGA provides a dynamic platform for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and educators to share innovative research, practical insights, and forward-thinking ideas related to public sector accounting, governance, and financial management—particularly within the Asian and African contexts.

The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, policy relevance, and ethical scholarship, with the aim of advancing transparency, accountability, and reform in public sector institutions.

Scope of the Journal

We welcome original research articles, conceptual papers, case studies, and reviews addressing topics such as:

  • Public sector accounting and financial reporting
  • Governance, public policy, and reform implementation
  • Human resource management and organizational behavior
  • Digital transformation and public innovation
  • Ethics, accountability, and political philosophy in governance
